NTFP-EP Philippines

Maia Urata started working with community development in 2006 and in 2012, she officially became an Enterprise Development Officer of NTFP-EP Philippines. She’s been working with different Indigenous People and Local Communities (IPLCs) Community-Based Enterprises (CBEs) in the Philippines and also one of the EXCEED Trainer of NTFP-EP Asia Academy. Her technical expertise is on Product Development and Management. Currently, she is working with the CBEs on textile industry as well as the local coordinator for the cultural communities in safeguarding heritage in Visayas landscape.
